Now, I know we don't know the exactly answer for hypertrophy and strength gains. Some say training strength makes you less musculer than a bodybuilder but more powerful etc.
Can we mix those training styles and get significant progress both muscle size and lifts? I tried both. Body building is for me linear progress with a lot of size gains. However, Powerlifting or strongmen isn't that good for size however I am flying with excitement every time I try to lift, I somehow lifting more weights than 1 or 2 days ago, everytime.
So my question is can they be mixed and be efficient for both purposes? (Size and strength gain.)
For example, after I do my 5x5 or 4x6 heavy squats, should I do leg press 12x6 or 9x6 with comparetively light weight?
Note: I searched a bit. For programming mixing both is like a taboo for bodybuilding and powerlifting communities.
