I'm currently cutting weight with about a 1000 calorie deficit per Counting calories, weighing food, and MFP.
My current routine is just a basic dieting routine. I get up at 520am, eat half a banana, drink my pre and workout from 6-8am and eat the rest of the banana during that. After my workout I drink a protein shake plus creatine made with water. I get back to my house at 820, eat an egg and lean meat based breakfast, then go to classes. At 11am I eat 100g green beans and a protein/fiber bar in between classes. At 1pm or so I eat lunch and then back to class/internship. At 4pm I eat a high protein snack. From 6-7pm I eat dinner. Then homework and to bed between 9 and 10pm. This is my schedule near every week day save Friday when I work until midnight, Saturday when Iwake up late, take my off day and work until midnight, and Sunday when I wake up late, study, and lift late because my gym opens 1-7pm.
I'm looking to go on an IF diet of eating from 11am-7pm and fasting 'til 11 the next morning. I can't really change when I workout as my schedule is quite packed.
My question is, will the lack of protein and breakfast shortly after my workout be detrimental to my progress? I realize I will have to go without my workout banana as well.
Any suggestions are very welcome!
