Triceps and chest exercises for people with shoulder issues

I had some pains in my shoulder and decided to get an MRI done. Turns out I have two partially torn tendons in my right shoulder. I don't feel too much pain or discomfort but I really haven't been able to work out my chest or triceps without feeling like I might make things worse. My GP recommended cortisone injections and physical therapy but I am getting a second opinion from a specialist. Problem is that the appointment is a month away and it's driving me crazy that I can't do push ups or dips. Does anyone have an suggestions on what exercises are safe to do? I don't do gym, I mainly do body weight exercises.
