While on a cut towards the summer, eating at 1800-1900calories a day, I sometimes find it hard to meet my protein goal. I weight 180lbs (81kg), and I'm at an intermediate level of lifting.
I'm aiming to get between 140 and 150g of protein a day, but I find that on days where I'm not having chicken/turkey for dinner, hitting this total is difficult.
How important is it actually to hit this goal every day? 30-50g out of 150 is a lot, and I can imagine that on a restricted intake, protein might be very important. How noticable would low protein intake be? I don't think I've ever read how it impacts you, just that it does.
