Ive been going gym on and off for about 2 years now and i have weird pains, i would like help or reassurance with before deciding to go to a doctor, im currently in Coventry at university and my doctor is in london so i dont want go unless absolutely necessary.
First benching ive been benching for a while flat - incline and dumbells but my chest has an unbelievable amount of pain in my right inner pectoral the part attached to my sternum its sharp pain and i dont know what its is . I have been benching on and off for about 2 years but ive never had this pain. Im scared that its going to show tears in my chest from my sternum which will hurt my chances as a male model which i aspire to do alongside my studies ive been losing weigt quiet rapidly but safely (according to My Fitness pal). I have seen Youtube videos saying that people who do dips have reported a similar pain. How do i fix this or repair this because its really beginning to affect my workouts.
I also had pain when doing normal curls felt like my bicep was tearing on the inside idk if it was though this only also happened on my right arm not my left similar to my pecs. My dominant side is my right so i am very cautious in having it out of action for any period of time. Anyway thanks for any help you can give much appreciated
